Forgiveness is love. Blood is at the very center of man’s history. The shedding of blood, the giving of blood, the taking of blood. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Without the shedding of blood, there is no need for forgiveness. It’s all about life and death, but the path to life runs through death. Whoever will find his life must lose his life. If you want to live, you must die. It was what Christ did. He shed his blood. It sounds absurd, I know. But it’s only when you decide to give yourself up - to die - that you yourself will understand love.

A state of satisfaction; a peaceful happiness.
An internal satisfaction which does not demand change in external circumstances.
The peace of heart and mind should be yours to enjoy.
Phil 4:19 “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Jesus Christ.”
True Christian contentment is a satisfaction with God in all of His word, will, providences, promises, and prophecies.
Psalm 25:4-5 “Show me Thy ways, O LORD, teach me Thy paths. Lead me in Thy truths, and teach me: for Thou art the God of my salvation; on Thee do I wait all the day.”
God is the source of contentment. Am I making enough of an effort in my relationship with Him? I don’t think I could ever make enough of an effort, which gives me something to strive toward. -
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end; then stop. -Lewis Carrol, Alice in Wonderland

Life is something that you must take in stride. It’s not something that can be planned extensively, or something that you can always see what’s coming. Sure, you will have up’s and down’s, but really, how boring would it be if it just stayed constant? Life’s a looking glass. The choice is yours as to how you perceive it.
